Buckle Up For Safe Dog Travels!

We all know the importance of making sure that we are buckled up to keep us safe in the car. Our cars come equipped with seatbelts for humans, but how do you keep your pet safe while driving in the car?

Crates and kennels are easy ways to make sure your pet stays contained and safe in your car. Typically the safest place for a small crate or kennel to be placed in your car is on the floor of the back seat, behind the driver, but these can also be strapped to seats or secured in the back hatch area of a vehicle!

If your dog doesn’t enjoy spending time in a kennel or crate, dog seat belt tethers can be easily installed in your car to ensure that your pet stays safe and secure. We have seat belts that come with a harness, or ones that attach to your dog’s own harness! Some keep your pet stationary in one spot in the car, while others allow your dog to move around the back seat while staying tethered in!
